Expansion of our learning and support services

Due to high demand, we have expanded our childcare services. New morning and study groups—including for teenagers—as well as four afternoon groups create additional places, a safe learning environment, and new prospects for the future for around 60 children, made possible by loyal support.

As there are still many children on our waiting list, we have specifically expanded our childcare services. In the mornings, we currently look after two classes, including a newly launched learning group for 15- to 17-year-olds in cooperation with a nearby school. The program is aimed at young people who have regular school lessons in the afternoons.

The morning is characterized by structured learning time and homework assistance from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by lunch for around 20 children.

Afternoon care begins at 1:00 p.m. At 1:30 p.m., the children receive their main meal. In total, we support around 60 children in four learning groups in the afternoon, where they receive academic support, guidance, and encouragement.

This expansion creates additional places, offers a protected learning environment, and opens up new prospects for the children's future—made possible by the loyal support of our donors.
