Children's House
- We are building a real home in Riobamba, Ecuador. The first two houses we completed in October 2014 currently serve approximately 60 children as a regular place for lunch, homework help, and spiritual children's programs.
- Additionally, we offer 40 daycare spots.
- The care for these Immanuel children is made possible through our Immanuel sponsorships. Through these sponsorships, we provide these children with consistent support for a solid education and vocational training.
- In the Immanuel houses, not only are children cared for, but a small church congregation also meets there for services and other programs.
- We regularly conduct health campaigns.
- Through these initiatives, the children experience and learn Christian and ethical values.
We are planning to construct a multifunctional building, as our existing facilities are no longer sufficient. We already have a waiting list of children that we currently cannot support due to space constraints. Additionally, we want to be able to accommodate young, single teenage mothers to provide them and their children with a future and education. Unfortunately, this is still not possible without the new building!
We have started saving for this new building. An architect in the area has provided us with a design free of charge, so we can now move on to the next steps. The building is expected to cost only a fraction of what something comparable would cost here in Germany. Nevertheless, we estimate the costs to be around €200,000. For us, this is a true step of faith, and we know that this can only happen if we stand together.
As a mission organization, we remain committed to not incurring any debt. Therefore, we do not plan to finance the building but will build step by step as funds become available. The feedback we have received so far has been very encouraging. We would like to invite you, as friends and supporters, to join us in prayer and giving to make this vision a reality.
